Link popularity is just how popular your site is. Hence, if lots of sites have given you a link on theirs, the search engines will give yours more importance. Google places a lot of importance on this. So you should work in building your link popularity.

Email webmasters for a reciprocal link exchange preferably with sites that are more or less same theme as yours. But even if you have a link on a completely unrelated website can still help. That's better than nothing at all.

To get your site indexed in Google, it's not very important to submit it. Just concentrate in building your link popularity and Google will automatically find your site by following links on other sites. Your site will be given more importance if Google finds it on its own.

(2) Keyword Density

Keyword density is just how frequent your keywords appear on your site. Say your main page has 1000 words and your keywords appear 50 times, you have a keyword density of 50/1000 * 100 = 5% which is ok. Try getting a keyword density between 5-10%.

Place keywords in the following areas of your site.
